Under a Loving Sun
This album works with the symbolism of the sun to integrate lost parts of ourselves, along with hypnosis and meditation practices to remind us to focus on the constants over the absences in our daily lives.
For centuries across cultures, the sun has been a symbolic and trustable force, something we can rely on to rise each morning. We know on an instinctive, subconscious level that it provides us with this sense of security, even without being consciously aware of how important and necessary that is. In times of increasing uncertainty, the sun is a powerful symbol to rebuild trust in ourselves, particularly if we have experienced trauma and have lost trust in our reality. Living in survival mode can make it hard to regain this, particularly within our own bodies. Working subconsciously, the solution lies in returning to our bodies and reality to rebuild from there.

The four-track album is a warming meditative experience, journeying through four seasons, four stages of the day and four stages of life;

Autumn + Sunset + Adulthood
Winter + Sun Down + Old Age/Death.
Helping to reconnect us to ourselves and to nature, leaving us feeling re-energised, reassured and solar- charged. Each season, like each stage of life, comes with its challenges. For Jessica, the sun is a powerful subconscious metaphor to come back to time and time again. When we are worrying about the future, our finances or creativity or experiencing abandonment, the sun acts as a reminder there are parts of our experience that we can consistently rely on, subconsciously rebuilding our inner sense of hope. I cannot wait for you to hear it.
