Interruptus the annual exhibition shows the work of 30 artists from different disciplines and cultures exploring the many layers of sensuality.
Interruptus brings together a diverse group of works, sculpture, painting, video, installation, printmaking, photography and performance that challenge the meanings of eroticism in modern society openly.
Since 2004 Interruptus has had 6 editions in Madrid, Valencia and Vitoria, the last with their friends Pornolab and Revuelta Obscena, at Off Limits in Madrid in July 2009.
More than 4000 people have passed through the various galleries in which the exhibition has shown.
Interruptus 2010 will be open for 20 days until Sunday the 2nd May. Presenting will be the well-known works of Luis Baylon, Mili Sanchez, Miguel Oriola, Enrique Escorza, Maite Cajaraville, Rockabrut and Ramon Astray, Tachu Guadalupe and we welcome back Sasa Yagüe, and for the first time we have José María Ponce submitting a video made with the artist Zush, the Taiwanese artist Shu Lea Cheang, and new works by Jessica Boston.
There will be live performances, erotic texts and José Mariá Ponce will delight us with BDSM...
